This regatta is an around the Island "Pursuit Race" with two divisions, a Spinnaker Class and a Non-Spinnaker (Cruising) Class. The race start/finish line will be just outside the entrance of the Great Salt Pond. Each yacht will have its own assigned starting time, with the smaller yachts starting first, according to its PHRF handicap, so that all the yachts, if well sailed, will finish the around the Island race course at the same time! The race will be followed by an awards party, hosted by the BIYC, at the BIMI Facility, Ocean Avenue, New Harbor.
