Races will be held in the vicinity of Neuse River markers #17 and #19 and Broad Creek #2 near New Bern, NC. Racers can register seperately for each event, or for the entire series. RULES The regatta and series will be governed by the 2013-2016 Racing Rules of Sailing. ELIGIBILITY Entries shall be accepted from skippers of mono-hull sailboats 21 feet or longer with a current NC PHRF rating certificate. Eligible boats may enter by sending the completed entry form and required fee to the address given. Anticipated classes are spinnaker, non-spinnaker, and cruising. SCHEDULE Six racing days are scheduled for the NYRA WINTER SERIES Day 1 Oct. 24, 2015 (Halloween Regatta) Day 2 Nov. 7, 2015 Day 3 Nov. 21, 2015 Day 4 Dec. 12, 2015 Day 5 Jan. 9, 2016 Day 6 Jan. 24, 2016 The First Warning Signal for all race days is scheduled at 10:55am. Socials will begin about 5:00pm on every race day, even if racing is canceled. The social location will be announced on the NYRA website. http://www.nyra.org/ SKIPPERS’ MEETING The only skippers’ meeting for the series and Halloween Regatta will be held Oct. 24 at 9:00am at Northwest Creek Marina.
