Commodore's Cup Summer Series 2017 : Kittery Point Yacht Club
 

About Event

The Commodore's Cup is awarded to the PHRF Cruising and Racing Class yacht that has the best scores for this five race series that include the KPYC - Ron Gibbons Memorial Regatta, The Whaleback Regatta, The Lobster Double Handed Regatta, The Singlehanded Regatta, and the PYC - Dave Mowers Memorial Pursuit Regatta.  Each Regatta test the skill of the skipper and his crew with unique challenges presented for each race.  In the past these event have drawn no less than 15 yachts for great competition on the water and wonderful post race awards socials.  So who is the best in 2017, The Commodore's Cup will answer that question. Race in one or all of these regattas, they are scored separately and awards given after each race. Your one time registration is all that is necessary to compete in each of these events.

    Commodore’s Cup Series 2017 Organizing Authorities - Kittery Point Yacht Club, Portsmouth Yacht Club and Piscataqua Sailing Association New Castle New Hampshire 03854 Registration is now open for the 2017 Porsche Audi Stratham, Commodore’s Cup Series. This PHRF Ocean Races are held off the Coast of New Hampshire and Maine. They will feature both Racing Class and Cruising Class as well as one design racing if 5 or more yachts of the same class are registered. The regattas will be held Saturdays, first gun at 12:00 Noon. After the race there will be award giving socials at the race sponsors yacht club to celebrate the winners in each class. Each Regatta is scored independently and perpetual trophies are awarded to the winning yachts. Mark your calendars for these great regattas on the New Hampshire Seacoast.
