The Barnstable Yacht Club’s Optimist Green Fleet Regatta emphasizes FUN! For many, this will be their first regatta. Competitors enjoy racing followed by an on-shore barbeque when sailing concludes in the early afternoon. Barnstable Yacht Club is an informal environment, where we recognize the children’s abilities and encourage everyone to participate. Racing is kept close to the club, and Barnstable Harbor is generally smooth sailing.
