ProSail is the privately owned and trademarked property of Morris International, Inc. and is a nationwide professional sailboat racing series. Founded in 1988 by NASCAR marketing guru, Sid Morris, the ProSail Series was created to be the “perfect” sports property offering an upscale sports marketing arena where sponsors can advertise their products and services throughout various sailing events. The ProSail Series special relationship with the marine industry and watersport community is unique and aids in providing exposure to millions of sailors and powerboaters around the globe.
Morris made history in April 1988 by organizing the first professional sailboat race in the United States and has awarded throughout the years over $3,000,000 in cash prizes to various ProSail Series participating teams.
