This year, DBMS has been selected to host a race for the 2018 USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festival. US Sailing’s Junior Olympic Sailing program is a nationwide racing series for youth ages 8 to 21. There are races for the beginner sailor, to those who have Olympic aspirations. Events mix Olympic-style competition with elements of learning and maritime fun. Each event in this series is hosted by a different sailing organization, but all events share a common goal: to promote the enjoyment of sailing and development of young sailors as well as provide an Olympic pathway for young talent.
