The Lake Washington Sailing Club is hosting its annual Turkey Shoot Regatta on Saturday, November 3rd 2018. This popular regatta is known for its good-sized fleets (Thistle, Banshee, Megabyte, Daysailer, FJ, Laser, Sunfish, El Toro, Windsurfer, Lido and open class) that battle for the big prizes: Turkeys! Washington Lake is located at the turning basin for the Port of West Sacramento. LWSC’s facilities include a delta clubhouse with a large covered deck, restrooms, a launch ramp, and a grass area with picnic tables. We have a 2000 lb. capacity hoist and a dinghy ramp for easy water access! This regatta is open to any centerboard sailboat or pre-approved keelboat up to 21-feet in length. Free onsite parking and launching. A light dinner served after racing. Come join us and enjoy a fun day sailing!
