Welcome to the inagural AYC Race Officials Symposium. Our legacy from Gaither Scott and Ron Ward through today is to pass along our passion for sailboat racing and running excellent regattas. We want not only focus on the basics-- equipment management, signaling, setting start and finish lines, setting marks, protest committees, weather and most importantly, safety, but also youth events, communication and regatta management. We anticipate competitors, coaches and vendors will attend as we continue the trend of open communication and collaboration within our sport. You may even want to consider speaking on Tips and Tricks for getting your Event Publicized! We would be delighted to have you join us too!
