Welcome to the Gorge! Whether you're a first-timer or a grizzled Gorge vet, the CGRA team is excited to have you with us for the 2019 RS Aero North American Championship. We're working hard to make your regatta experience an excellent one, on and off the water, and I wanted to let you know about a couple of late additions to the program that I think you'll be interested in:
- We will be using GPS tracking to record and re-play the races. This is a very cool technology, as well as super instructive for competitors who would like to study their tracks around the course. Tracking units fit in the pocket of your PFD and will be available at the Race Office at check-in tomorrow morning (Hurry! Only 30 trackers available; first come, first served).
- The RS Aero class and Rooster Sailing will be hosting daily de-briefs after racing to hear from the winners and share go-fast ideas. Everybody is welcome, and all participants will have a chance to win some awesome Rooster sailing gear. Grab a cold beverage and join us on the Race Office deck!
I'd also like to remind you to plan on joining us for a scrumptious buffet dinner in the park Saturday evening. If you've eaten with CGRA before, you know this is not to be missed! Competitor dinners are included in your entry fee; guest dinner tickets can be purchased at the CGRA Race Office.
