Based on the historic Monterey Bay Racing Yacht Association’s “Ocean Racing Series”, the MBYRA Championship Series aims to encourage safe racing in a Corinthian spirit between PHRF rated yachts from the Elkhorn Yacht Club (EYC), Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club (MPYC) and Santa Cruz Yacht Club (SCYC).
The Championship will draw on the results from five individual races organized by the three Monterey Bay yacht clubs.
