the 2023 NYRA Commodore’s Regatta Saturday, February 18, 2023 On the Neuse River, downriver from New Bern, NC. Around the buoys racing for Spinnaker and Non Spinnaker boats; Navigation Fleet will sail a medium distance race in the Neuse Shore Party to follow Saturday racing on the waterfront at Lawson’s on the Creek, at the NC History Center, downtown New Bern! This event will serve as our annual Commodore’s Ball Award ceremony, with awards for Boat of the Year, Crew of the Year, and Sportsman of the Year, and we will also issue awards for the 2022-23 Winter Series. Dinner will be catered by Vincent Farro and A Pinch of Love Catering. Anticipated Classes for Spinnaker, Non Spinnaker and Navigation. Friendly Racing for Novice Sailors in Navigation Class - great chance to learn new skills and meet other sailors!!
