The Venice Yacht Club and Venice Sailing Squadron are proud to present the 2024 Windjammer Regatta. For more than 40 years, the Windjammer Regatta has challenged sailors with open-water racing on the SW Florida Gulf Coast. This year’s edition will consist of a 22-mile race from Longboat Pass to Venice on Saturday, followed by buoy racing off the Venice Inlet on Sunday. Saturday evening festivities and Sunday crew breakfast will be hosted at the Venice Yacht Club. This regatta is a qualifying event for the Sarasota Bay Yachting Association “Boat of the Year” series.
