The Oshkosh Yacht Club Sailing School provides two hour community sailing opportunities for adults and families. Participants will sail on a 20 foot Flying Scot. It is the perfect teaching boat because it has an open concept and is very stable Classes will have a maximum of 4 sailors and one to two instructors. Our program focuses on basic skills and the enjoyment of sailing as a lifetime and community activity. All classes sail out of the OYC Harbor at The Waters, 1393 Washington Avenue, Oshkosh WI 54901 Please bring a Coast Guard approved life jacket, a beverage container (alcohol is not allowed) and wear rubber soled shoes. Classes may be rescheduled or cancelled due to inclement weather. There are no refunds for participant cancellations.
