Be part of the legend! Waccamaw Sailing Club is excited and pleased to announce our landmark 50th Annual Indian Summer Regatta, to be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 5th and 6th 2024, with a free welcome party starting at 6:00pm October 4th and open to everyone.
All classes that can be scored using the Portsmouth Yardstick are welcome - three or more boats of the same class will be scored One-Design, and others will be scored Open Portsmouth.
Awards will be given based on registered boats - the more boats in a class, the deeper the awards! (See the Notice Of Race for details.)
Please come out and join us for some great racing, a fun party Friday night, a delicious dinner Satutday after racing, and general sailor-talk around the club. It’s going to be a blast!
Even if you aren’t racing, we invite members and guests to join us for Friday's welcome party and Saturday’s dinner and social. Dinner-only tickets and additional tee shirt purchases are available at the "Event Store" link from the registtration page. We promise you won’t be disappointed!
General Schedule Of Events
Friday, October 4 - Informal welcome party with snacks, boat set-up, on-site late registration. Saturday, October 5 - Final late registrations, continental breakfast, competitors meeting, RACING, social gathering, and dinner.
Sunday, October 6 - Continental Breakfast, MORE RACING, more social gathering and fellowship, and prize-giving.
Basic resistration is for 1 person and includes 1 food/dinner pass and 1 tee shirt. additional food/dinner passes and tee shirts are available in the online storefront. Please order shirts in advance as we do not produce many extras to keep costs down.
