...Please bring used laser sails to ACC Regatta to donate to sailors in Kenya:If anyone has an old used laser sail you don't need and would be willing to donate to a sailing club in Kenya, please bring to the ACC Regatta at LEHYC. The McGlynn family, John, Kelly, Margie and Kevin, will be collecting the sails. One of the HIV Vaccine researchers Margie works with in Kilifi, Kenya, has started a sailing program to teach local (low income) Kenya children to sail. Some of the children are now moving into lasers, and they would greatly appreciate any used Laser sails that could be donated. We will hold a raffle for the first 50 sailors who Pre-Registerfor the event. The drawing will be held at the awards ceremony. Registration must be complete including payment. Don't delay as this is a great opportunity.
