Dear Sailors,
Thank you for attending the 2013 NBJR/Area A Qualifier for the Bemis Trophy. I hope you had fun and got some great sailing in too! The day ended a bit wet on Saturday with heavy downpours but Sunday proved to be favorable with the wind filling in and all fleets getting in at least 2 or 3 additional races.
Professional photographer Fran Grenon with Spectrum Photo was on the course both Saturday and Sunday. You can view and purchase photos at: http://spectrumphotofg.ifp3.com/#/page/home/. Click on the NBJR 2013 tab at the top of the page and then choose the file of the photos you would like to view. Files are organized by date and fleet.
On Saturday only, NBYC member Peter Van Colen was on the course with his camera. You can view his photos at www.decfoto.com, look under 2013 regattas.
It was our pleasure to host the NBJR and we hope you will come back next year. Best wishes to all for a successful and fun racing season.
Sincerely,
Paula Walsh Kuphal

We are pleased to welcome junior sailors, parents and coaches to New Bedford Yacht Club for the 2013 NBJR. This year we are hosting the Area A Qualifier for the U.S. Doublehanded Championship for the Bemis Trophy, in addition to the NBJR. 420 sailors who wish to be included in the Area A Elimination for the Bemis Trophy must complete the NBJR registration form AND the Area A Elimination registration form. There is no additional fee to register for the Area A Elimination. Be sure to review the NOR and follow all instructions for registration as well as review other important information found under the race documents tab.
New Bedford Yacht Club has a limited number of slips and docks available to coach & spectator boats. All coach and spectator boats that will require a slip or dock space must register at the NBYC Office prior to launching.
