I am looking to join a vessel for the Oregon Offshore as crew. I just returned to Portland after single handing across the Pacific for the past 3.5 years and have acquired over 20,000 ocean miles during this time, which has included a recent Atlantic crossing on a 90ft Cutter I hold a USCG 100Ton Master license and RYA Yachtmaster 200T, with an updated STCW95. I also am available for test sails or return delivery after the race. www.lifelineexplorers.com

Male, 28. Active military serving in a unit that uses small boats. 2 years experience sailing in the Puget sound and strait of Juan De Fuca, mostly single handed. I've sailed at night and in roughish weather in the West part of the strait but no offshore experience. Looking to gain some on this trip. I'm signed up for a safety at sea course, so I can satisfy that requirement. My job keeps me fit, I'm used to pulling shifts at odd hours, and I know how to be be part of a team.

My experience is as deck crew beginning with 4 years in the Army as a deckhand on ocean going vessels (LCU's & LSV's). I have 17 years of sailing experience, some racing, some cruising but mostly river / bay day sailing. I am a new owner of a 38' Morgan that my crew & I delivered from Port Townsend to Portland. I've helped deliver another boat from Port Angeles to Portland. I have also gained my ASA levels through 104 and successfully completed a coastal navigation course through the Power Squadron. I also have prior EMT experience.

I am looking for a boat to crew on. Six years prior Coast Guard experience as a coxswain and boatswain mate. Although I’ve only been sailing for the last three years I have my ASA certification through the 105 level. I’m currently registered for the March 24 safety at sea class and will have that completed before the offshore race. I also purchased last year a Cal 20 and am a member in that fleet.
