I am seeking volunteer crew aboard Merry Way (FS2447) for the Glow II Regatta at Clinton Lake IL on the weekend of October 1-2, 2022. Crew need not be expert, though some Flying Scot racing experience is desirable. At a minimum, I need someone for the race days on Saturday and Sunday. I am planning on arriving at CLSA from my home in Minnesota relatively early on Wednesday, September 28, in order to take advantage of the optional racing clinics being offered by the club on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. My volunteer crew will be welcome (as in encouraged) to participate in those clinics if available, but I do not require it of you.
As is my usual practice, I will be camping onsite in my RV. If convenient and desirable to crew, you will have the option of full access to and sleeping space in my beautiful and very recently purchased motorhome for the entire weekend. Privacy will be provided. Again, that RV option is purely your choice.
