Hello! I have a set of deck hands that are just sitting around if any body is looking for crew! I have some recreational and racing experience. I've done the ASA 101, 103,104 and 114 on both monohulls and catamarans. I've recently participated as crew in the Dixie District Championship and Potomac Cup organzied by PRSA and I usually rent out Flying Scots from the Washington Sailing Marina for play. Happy to fly a kite! Kind regards, Ehab

Hello! My husband and I are looking to crew. We both used to race in college. I'm excited to meet new people. I can provide snacks and maybe drinks. We just moved back from Spain, so we have lots of wine to share.

Hi! I am a 30yr old NOVA native available to crew! I am moderately experienced, having grown up sailing small boats (sunfish & flying scotts) but have experience with multiple larger vessels 25-38ft, the majority of which helping to crew for evening races at other clubs. I am 10 min from DISC. I can lift heavy, pull hard, move fast and listen well!

Hi DISC skippers. I am looking for regular crew opportunites on Tuesday nights. I live .5 mile from DISC, 12 minute walk so can hop on last minute. I've been racing Flying Scots near Annapolis for 30+ years, and crew 4-5 regattas a summer on a PHRF boat out of Fishing Bay Yacht Club in Deltaville, VA. I know my way around sailboats, running races and the racing rules, so looking for an opportnity get on the water and be useful & have some fun.

Cody Posted on Jun 19, 2024 15:58 EST
Hello! My name is Cody. I'm 33 years old and have been sailing for about 2.5 years. Most of my mono time is on small Catalinas out of Camp Pendleton, but I did have the opportunity to crew a friend's 32' cutter last year. Most of my larger boat time has been on cats. I've got a bareboat cat rating and do an annual bareboat trip, so far both on 40' leopards. I've never raced and would love the opportunity to get into the sport and get to know some fellow sailors in the area. Happy to fill any role on the boat. Let's get out there!

Hello! I have just graduated college and I am moving to DC this summer. I am hoping to get involved with racing and get to know the Potomac sailing community. I am capable of doing almost any job on a boat and I love learning new skills and meeting new people! I have 5 years of experience as a sailing instructor on 420s, Optis, Colgate 26s, and Hobie Cats. I have taught at yacht clubs in Chicago and New Orleans. I used to sail 420s competitively in high school; my team won the Great Lakes championship and went on to compete in the Atlantic Coast Championship. I participated in many Wednesday night keelboat races in Chicago on a Megles 32.

Denise Chambers Posted on Jun 01, 2024 13:50 EST
Hi I\'m Denise. I\'m 57 and I am looking to crew. I'm not overweight and very active and athletic. I have been sailing for 30 years. I have taken several sailing courses up to coastal cruising in the past. I have skippered bare boat charters in the BVI 15 -20 years ago, but more recently I rent hobie cats for an hour or two to get on the water. I recently passed a boating certification course. I\'m happy to help out on any size sail boat. Thanks for reading!

Jillian Klarman Posted on Mar 18, 2024 14:31 EST
Hello! I'm Jillie. I'm 32 and recently moved back to Alexandria from Annapolis where I crewed on a J/92S in the Weds night AYC series. I also have some experience on J/80s and Harbor 20s, however I still would put myself in the beginner/still learning category. I do have a US Sailing small boat certificate. I love being out on the water and meeting new sailing friends, so I'm hoping to crew starting in the spring and into the summer as much as I can!
