Would like to crew for Friday Night Series that could lead to a crew position for weekend racing events. Preference is for a OD spinnaker boat between 24' and 34' but okay with a PHRF boat using symmetrical kite. Experienced cruising sailor (including offshore passages) but no real racing experience. Hi,
I was racing on "Dancing Bear" (skippers - Raymond Hall and Joe Askins) for the last 5 seasons (FNS, Island Fever, and Jazz Cup). Ray has decided to retire, so I'm looking for another racing team to join. My standard position on Dancing Bear was jib trimming and winches, but I'm ok to start as a rail meat, if necessary. I also could recommend another "able body" - Vadim Dymshyts - who was my partner trimming and operating the headsail for all these years.
