Service Offering: I will provide high performance Jib, Spin, or Main Trim for any boat inside the bay, and for any very experienced boat outside the bay for $125 per hour. I\'ve been racing since 1990 at Northwestern University\'s Sailing Club, and since 2006 in The Bay Area (Bay and Ocean). Alex Kent (650)793-0541 235 lbs, 6 foot 2 inches, 43, very strong and fit. Started sailing in high school and then on the Northwestern University sailing team on 420s. Ran 4 marathons. Brother of state-champion, 8th in nation swimmer. 12 years of Bay and OYRA racing with several Pro and Olympic sailors. 2016 – Won 1st place out of 55 boats (ahead of 2nd place by 31 minutes and Set Course Record) on main and jib/spin trim in the YRA Westpoint Regatta on the Corsair “Trident”. 2015 – Won 4th out of 111 boats in the YRA Season Closer, and 1st out of 20 boats in the GGYC Midwinter race on main trim for Farr 52 “Zamazaan”. 2015 – Won 2 x 1st place at SF Yacht Club Race and 3rd in The 2015 Rolex Big Boat Series, North American Yacht Racing Championship on Swan 42 “Elusive”. 2013 – Won 1st place overall in Aldo Alessio regatta on J105 ‘Arbitrage’. 2012 – Won 2 x 1st place, and 3rd overall in the Rolex Big Boat Series, North American Yacht Racing Championships on J120 ‘Grace Dances’. 2010 - Won 1st place on Santa Cruz 50 in ‘Roland Wheeler’ Regatta. 2008 - Won 1st place Farr 40 Astra. 2008 - Won 1st place in PV ‘Banderas Bay Blast’ on Cirque. 2007 - Won 1st place in our division on the Beneteau 42.7 Cirque for overall OYRA Norcal season.
