Good westerly breeze ashore all day with the apps showing 4-5 kts at race time - not ideal. Thinking the offshore breeze more reliable, inshore triangle set. Reaching legs move things along, triangle marks offer more possibilities. First race a port rounding triangle, second race up and down to reach mark. Big ebb caught a few unaware, glassy water helped, breeze shifty but better than expected. 23 yachts raced. Breeze and tide not withstanding, a truly beautiful evening. We'll take it.
