The best option for coach boats....launch at the Crandon Park Marina. It is $8 for launch and allows you to keep car/trailer in the ramp parking lot for up to 24 hours. So, if you launch Saturday and recover Sunday, it will cost you a total of $16. Or you can launch at the Marina and then bring the car/trailer back to Historic Virginia Key Beach Park and leave it there. Crandon Park Marina is across Bear Cut from Historic Virginia Key Beach. It's about 1/2 mile (both by road and as crow flies) from Historic Virginia Key Beach where the fleet will be sailing out of. You can keep your boat at the Crandon Park Marina overnight for $1.93 per foot transient dockage if they have space. You arrange that direct with the Marina OR we're still trying to arrange for group dockage there. The cost won't be any less if the Marina agrees, but we'll have space for sure. Tackle Shack is chartering Full Rig, Radial, and 4.7's for the event. Charters consist of Laser Hull w/ hiking strap, Pro deck plates, Ratchet, Spars and Dolly. Sailors must provide Sail, All Control lines, Travel, Outhaul, Vang Blocks, Centerboard, Rudder, Tiller, and Extension. Cost for charter at $321, tax Included.
