Please note the following changes for this year:
Instead of a BBQ after racing, this year we are holding a raft-up PRIOR to the race at 1100 so we can evaluate the wind and postpone if necessary. Instead of the $10/head charge for the BBQ, the fee will be $15 per boat and the Club will provide refreshments and snacks aboard our new signal boat INSEL.
- 1100 - 1300: Raft up at the Club mooring in Lloyd Harbor. Skippers and crews lunch while the club provides snacks and beverages
- 1300: Raft-up ends and the racers are off.
- 1400 first gun, 1405 Cruising Class start, 1410 Racing Class start.
- ~1500-1530 fleet finishes and goes home, RC and regatta committee score the race and publish results.
Please note that for the registration service to work, the registration form requires a fee, in this case $30. This is credited with a $15 discount which nets out to the $10 fee to racers.
Sails: This is a jib and main race. No spinnakers of any variety may be used. Whisker poles of any length are permitted.
Divisions: There will be two divisions, Racing and Cruising. Boats that normally race JAM should register in the Cruising Class.
Members listed below will race in the Cruising Class, all others will race in the Racing Class: Amante, Belle, Berg, Bolen, Brings, Calder, Chelius, Chillemi, Corcoran, Corso, Crowley, Dara, Dorr, Drumm, Eliea, Favata, Feore, M.Glackin, Hasnas, Heidelberger, Hering, Keller, Kiraly, Mavronicolas, Meyer, Montalto, Novak, Powers, Rubin-de-Cervens, Savan, Schirone, Sposato, Suss (I’ll Play), Ten Haagen, Vascotto (Bacci), Voulgaris, Wright, Waldorf, Wolfe, Wolpensinger.
Starting: In accordance with the Racing Rules of Sailing Rule #26. Cruising Class will be class #1 and Racing Class will be class #2
