Welcome to the 2018 Buccaneer Blast Regatta at the Upper Keys Sailing Club in beautiful Key Largo, Florida!
We are delighted to invite all optimist sailors for a wonderful weekend of racing and family fun. We are also welcoming back 4.7, radial and full-rig LASER sailors to our event after a two-year hiatus. By bringing back Lasers together with the opti fleets, we hope to smash our attendance record in 2018.
In 2017, we had more RWB sailors than greenies for the first time in our event's history. And while we are still considered one of the funnest and friendliest regattas for "first timers" and newbie opti sailors, we can't wait to see all the action on the water from the the top notch Opti and Laser sailors that call Florida their home.
