Established in 1897, the Houston Yacht Club (HYC) is the oldest yacht club in Texas. Located on a four acre property in Shoreacres, Texas (about 45 minutes southeast of downtown Houston), our facilities include a 27,000 square foot clubhouse with restaurant and banquet ballroom, men’s and women’s sailing locker-rooms, swimming pool, 185 boat marina and harbor, fuel dock, on-site launch ramps for trailered boats, and on-site parking for both cars and trailers.
