This is an offshore race in the Gulf of Mexico, which will start in or near the Galveston jetties at marker #11 and finish near marker #11. Spinnaker yachts will sail a triangular course of approximately 90 NM. Non-spinnaker yachts will sail a two leg reaching course of approximately 60 NM.
