You are cordially invited to attend the 56th Annual Navy Regatta which consists of the Navy Base Race (Saturday, August 4th) and the Military Challenge Cup (Sunday, August 5th). Both races are open to all who file a proper entry form and pay the entry fee by 1700 hrs. (5:00 PM), Friday, August 3, 2018. This year, as in years past, this Regatta will incorporate the theme of “A Salute to Our Heroes,” in honor of the service of enlisted personnel and officers.

    As per NOR 6.8 and contrary to NOR 8 (the schedule) for the Navy Day Regatta. The crew assignment party will be held at the BYC's new clubhouse located on the South end of the Lawrence Street T-Head (NOT at 555 S Shoreline). That's on the M/V Bay Star, Berth L-2SBH (South Bulk Head) Lawrence St T Head, City Marina, Corpus Christi TX 78401....or 27.792165, -97.388961 if coming by sea. If you still don't know where this is, drive to the End of the Lawrence St T Head, before you drive into the water look right. ...

    Registration for the Navy Regatta is still open. However the deadline to submit your (crew) information to the Navy is CLOSED. In other words, if you don't have your info to Robin, you can race, but you can't get off your boat at the Navy Base. ...

    The Navy Base has extended the deadline for turning in your crew information to them to the 26th. As a reminder: Skipper’s are strongly encouraged to provide such information to Robin for anyone that could possibly be considered a crew member for the Regatta to avoid any security problems. Better to be on the list and not attend than to want to attend and not be on the list.
