About Event

This year you can select from two options.  

  1. Traditionally this is an offshore race in the Gulf of Mexico which starts Friday and finishes Saturday in the Galveston jetties. Spinnaker yachts will sail a triangular course of approximately 90 NM. Non-spinnaker yachts will sail a two leg course of approximately 60 NM. 
  2. Optionally, you can register for a casual pursuit race in Galveston Bay on Saturday.  Saturday race start times will begin around 11 when we hope the sea breeze will have filled in.  Tradional handicap class or create your own “Privateer” class of at least three boats with an agreed start time and rating.
