Join the Potomac River Sailing Association to race in the largest one-design regatta on the Potomac with the National Capitol and monuments as a backdrop, and to carry on the tradition of competitive one-design racing that started with the 1934 President’s Cup! All one-design classes 20 feet or under are invited.

    President's Cup Sailors: Day 1 scores have been posted to the "Newsroom & Results" area on the Regatta Network site. The forecast for Sunday is for N/NE winds around 8 knots with temps in the 80s. No advisories, watches, or warnings are in effect. High tide is 0800 and low tided is 1424. Water temps will be in the mid 70s. As a reminder, there is no skipper's meeting on Sunday. The first warning signal for the first class (I-20s if present, otherwise Lightnings) is scheduled for 1125. The RC intends to leave the dock around 1000. Cheers, Aaron -- Aaron P.     The NWS forecast for Saturday calls for light and variable northerly winds (less than 5kts) becoming NW and perhaps building just a bit in the afternoon. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm. At present, there are no watches, warnings or advisories in effect. Low tide at Hains Point is at 0948 on Saturday and high tide is 4:49. Water temps are in the mid 70s (F). We will provide update at the 1000 competitors’ meeting.
