Join us for the 2022 Commodore’s Cup regatta.  One of the best and largest regattas in the region.  The Commodore’s Cup is open to sailboats of all classes, Symmetrical Spinnaker and Non-spinnaker Keel Boats, Asymmetrical Sport Boats, Centerboards, and Catamarans.  The regatta is open to all sailors and crews. Come out to the enjoy the competitive racing, food, entertainment and networking hosted by Perry Yacht Club.

Special note for youth sailors.  All boats with a skipper whose are is 21 years of age of younger on September 4, 2022 will be placed in a Youth Skipper fleet, each Youth Skipper will sail within their respective fleet for their boat, but will, in addition to being scored with the overall fleet, also be scored based on their corrected times as a Youth Skipper’s fleet.

07:30 - 09:30 – Continental Breakfast at the Clubhouse

08:00 - 09:30 - Racing Registration at the Clubhouse (Registration for meals for both events close at 1200)

09:30 - Opening Ceremony / Flag Raising at the Clubhouse

09:45 - Skipper’s Meeting at the Clubhouse

11:55 - Warning Signal First Race conditions permitting (Build your own sack lunch will be available). 3-5 races are “planned” for this day.

18:00 - 20:15 - Silent Auction and social time to Benefit PYC Youth Sailing Opens

18:30 - Dinner at the Clubhouse

19:30 - Live Auction, then Close of Silent Auction at 20:15

Sunday, September 4, 2022 

07:30 - 09:30 – Pancake Breakfast at the Clubhouse.

10:25 - Warning Signal for remaining races. 2-3 races are planned for this day.

                **No races will start after 1430 hrs**

12:30 – Lunch

13:30 Wrap-Up and Trophy Presentation following the last race.

PARKING  

There will be parking available on the PYC premises.  Please be respectful when parking your trailer, vehicle, or horse. 

CAMPING

PYC offers camping facilities for tents as well as campers with electric hook-up. The annual PYC Commodore’s Cup is a very popular event, and all the Recreational Vehicle (RV) campsites are typically fully occupied.  There is typically room for tent campers. RV and camping is on a first come first serve basis. No campers will be allowed entry to PYC for the weekend activities prior to 1200 on Wednesday August 31, 2022.  No campsite may be established and left unattended overnight.
