Welcome to the Tred Avon Yacht Club on the Eastern Shore of MD. We are looking forward to getting back into sailing in full force this year as we welcome back the Penguin, Comet and Laser fleets for our 2022 Spring Invitational. New for TAYC, we are inviting the Open 2.4mR class for a 2-day event. We are planning to offer support for the Open 2.4m's on Friday for sailing, to clinic or just practice, followed by our weekly Ales and Tales Pub style dinner Friday evening. Racing starts Saturday with Penguins, Comets, and 2.4mR classes, followed by a simple BBQ Burger meal Saturday evening. The 2.4mR class will race again Sunday, this time with the Lasers. There will be a Continental breakfast Saturday and Sunday Mornings, as well as light hors d'oeuves at Saturday and Sunday's awards. There is a cash bar all weekend plus a sponsored Keg Saturday evening for participants. We have blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn Express, Quality Inn and Best Western in Easton, MD - about 20 minutes away. There are other hotels and B&B's in the area, but the once mentioned above have offered us better rates. We are offering storage for any traveling boats, specifically the 2.4m class, before or after the regatta.
