2022 SMSA Gill Trophy: Cailyn Murphy and Amelia Gassner (Chatham YC) out dueled a very talented fleet of Junior Women to capture the 2022 Gill Trophy.  The win was especially gratifying the Murphy & Gassner after finish second by 1 point in both 2021 and 2019. Charlotte and Ainsley West (Scituate Harbor YC) were second, winning the final race.  Sophie Menyhart and Aliki Patoucheas (Hyannis YC) were third, just ahead of Mira Herlihy and Maisy Sperry (New Bedford YC).  Eliza Corral (New Bedford YC/Hyannis YC) and Morgan Whitlock (Hyannis YC) rounded out the top five.  Complete results can be found on the SM Sailing Website. The racing was very tight with 8-9 teams in medal contention going into the final race.  The regatta, co-hosted by Tabor Academy and Beverly YC, saw a variety of wind conditions that tested all the sailor's skill.
