Dear Competitors, As I am sure you are aware, the forecast for this weekend does not look ideal. We've been tracking the tropical storm and as of today there is a Gale Warning in place until Saturday evening. Sunday's weather looks sailable. PRSA will not run races during active Gale Warnings as we believe our RC boats are not suited for those conditions. Unless the Gale Warning is canceled, an official decision to cancel races will be made at 7am Saturday based on the most recent alert. If the Gale Warning is downgraded, a decision to race will be held at the Competitors' Meeting at 1000 at the Washington Sailing Marina. It is unlikely that the Gale Warning will be canceled so in anticipation the Saturday dinner has been moved to Sunday. We do plan on racing Sunday. An Amendment has been posted to include a Sunday Competitors' Meeting at 930 and a new first Start Time of 1045 this should allow us to maximize the number of races.
