Sunfish Fleet 154 invites you to join us for 2 days of racing on Sarasota Bay, Florida. Dinner will follow racing on Saturday.     On 2/4/24 at 7:30pm, an updated Logistics Welcome Notice was made available to competitors. The only change is all competitors who would like to arrive prior to Friday Feb 9, MUST contact the SSS manager to coordinate arrangements. If you are planning on bringing a spectator or support boat please note that no powerboats may be launched at SSS.     Sunfish Fleet 154 is very excited to be hosting our Sarasota Sunshine Regatta and want to prepare you to be safe and comfortable. Florida weather in February can be unpredictable and competitors cannot assume it will be a warm balmy weekend. The water and air temperatures can be cool and we strongly suggest you are prepared for a range of conditions. Because the bay is shallow, the water temperature can change quickly if a cold air mass moves in. Please consider bringing gear for a range of conditions so you are comfortable and safe. It's not like frostbiting in the north, but hypothermia is a real risk and we ask that you dress appropriately. ...
