Ever wanted to learn what it would be like to improve your sailing skills by applying them to sailboat racing? Riverton Yacht Club (RYC) offers three adult advanced sessions during the summer on the historic Delaware River, where students will participate in RYC's Wednesday night racing along with a qualified instructor. The advanced adult sessions are intended to build upon skills learned in the beginner class. Lessons will include strategies for starting, rounding marks, and competitive sailing. Safety, communication, and an introduction to the Racing Rules of Sailing will also be covered. Don’t pass up this excellent opportunity to learn, and/or improve sailing skills. Many students have gone on to make sailing a lifelong activity; becoming part of a vibrant sailing community. * In the event a Wednesday night session has to be canceled due to weather, the make-up session will be the following Wednesday night. * $25 non-refundable cancellation fee.
