Answer: Yes
...Question: Will mark “Y” be in the water before the starting sequence and will its coordinates be broadcast?
Answer: Mark “Y” will be dropped to form a windward-leeward leg between it and mark “O”. It is likely that it will not be dropped before the start sequence. The race committee will attempt to broadcast the approximate bearing and distance from “O” to “Y” on VHF channel 69. Lat/Lon coordinates for mark “Y” will not be broadcast.
...Question: What is mark 1C?
Answer: Mark 1C is Galveston Entrance Buoy 1C (Green). From the start, outbound, green buoys are "11" - "9" - "7" - "5" - "3" - "1C".
...Russo's NY Pizzeria in Galveston will take crew sandwich orders at the skipper's meeting. Sandwiches are made on fresh pizzoto bread (similar to pita) and delivered fresh to the yacht basin each morning. All have a light olive oil dressing or marinara to keep them boat friendly. One whole sandwich comes wrapped in quarters and easily feeds two hungry crew.
For those unable to attend the skipper's meeting, the order form may be faxed to manager Jose Rosas at 409-762-0204. Orders should be faxed by Tuesday, July 20 to ensure delivery.
