The JAM Regatta Saturday, June 7, 2014 Edgewater Yacht Club The JAM regatta has returned to Edgewater. Its been a favored event for many years and we are thrilled at the opportunity to offer it again. We moved the Regatta to early June so it serves as an easy shakedown cruise for some, and a chance to race around the marks without the intensity of chaos at the start line for our casual racers and sailors. For 2014 we hope to have fleets for the following divisions 1. Traditional Displacement Boats 2. "Sport" boats 3. Double-handed Tom Quick, Master Chef and Owner of Matchworks tavern is preparing a Jamaican Jerk BBQ Chicken with beans and rice after the race for our pleasure at the after race party on the pavilion. All crews are invited to chow down mon!. We be cookin. Awards will be presented for the Top 3 finishers, and the Top 3 best neck ties for the skippers.
