This is an open race. All PHRF boats are eligible. Yacht club membership is not a requirement for race entry. Patriot Series is a series of two (2) races each Saturday evening of the first four (4) consecutive Saturdays in August. A total of eight races will be scored with the two worst scores being discarded (throw-outs). This will allow racers to participate in the LCYC Summer Series without forfeiting position in either series. Possible classes are PHRF spinnaker, PHRF Non-spinnaker, and One Design. 3 boats may form a fleet, although fleets of less than 3 may be formed at the discretion of the Race Committee. The Moon Light Regatta Long Distance Race on August 9 will be the fourth race in the series. Registered racers in the Patriot Series SHOULD NOT register separately for the Moon Light Regatta. Separate recognitions will be given for Moon Light Regatta and Patriot Series.
