The Small Yacht Sailing Club of Oregon (SYSCO) was formed in 1978 as a non-profit organization to promote one-design and level class sailboat racing and cruising, primarily with keelboats and multi-hulls 19' and up, and to educate its members in racing skills through a program of racing, educational sessions, and club meetings.

Importance of serving on your Race Committee.

I understand that I will be racing as a member of a SYSCO Fleet and responsible for supporting that Fleet in satisfying its Race Committee obligations throughout the year.

I further understand that SYSCO membership requires that I agree to undertake up to eight hours of Club duty per year, if asked by any of the officers. These volunteer roles do NOT INCLUDE RACE COMMITTEE, which is for every fleet I race in. Even if I race both Tuesdays and Thursdays, I understand I will need to skip a race to support each of my fleets for RC.

I would like to devote my volunteer time to: (You MUST Select at least two options)
Archiving SYSCO. Collect, organize, find a way to tell the SYSCO story. We have a 45th milestone anniversary coming up in 2024!
