Notice of Race (NoR)













The notation ‘[NP]’ in a rule means that a boat may not protest another boat for breaking that
rule.  This changes RRS 60.1(a).
1            RULES
1.1         This event is governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
2            SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1         Portland Yacht Club events are governed by the OCSA General Sailing Instructions.

3            COMMUNICATION
3.1         The official notice board is located at: https://sailpdx.org
3.2         [DP][NP] All boats shall carry a VHF radio capable of communicating on channels 16,
68, and 72.


































4            Eligibility
4.1         Skippers and all helmsmen must be 70 years or older on April 13, 2025.
There are no age requirements for others on board during the event
5            FEES
5.1         Entry fees are as follows:
Register by April 5, 2024
$10 for all sailors with a $10 credit coupon
6            SCHEDULE
6.1         Registration: Deadline, Saturday, April 5, 1700 hrs
6.2         Number of races:
Regatta minimum: One (1) Maximum: Three (3)
6.3         The scheduled time of the warning signal is 1300 hrs
6.4         No Warning Signal will occur after 1630 hrs
