Experienced 3-person crew will sail (or help you sail) your boat back to Houston free-of-charge (as well as drive your car to have it waiting for you in Corpus): Don H. first learned to sail as a midshipman in the U.S. Navy, where he earned his offshore crewmen certification. In the fleet from 1990 to 1998, Don flew the P-3C Orion patrol aircraft, served aboard both US and British aircraft carriers, and manned the Mediterranean operations center as part of an Admiral's staff. Among other responsibilities, Don was designated the Mediterranean search and rescue officer for the US Navy for a period of three years. Ben S. started sailing as a child, but began sailing larger vessels (25 ft to 35 ft boats) when he moved to Houston in 2011. Since that time, he has achieved his 101, 103, and 104 ASA Student Certification, and continues to sail vessels single-handedly on a regular basis in Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. Loren B. has been a pleasure sailor for years, mostly joining friends as crew on weekend voyages on Cape Cod and in Newport, Rhode Island. Recently he made his first open ocean voyage, sailing from the Galápagos Islands to French Polynesia over the course of a month.
