Please be prepared so you will be safe and comfortable. Florida weather in March can be unpredictable and competitors cannot assume it will be warm and balmy. The water and air temperatures can be cool and we strongly suggest you are prepared for a range of conditions. Because the bay is shallow, the water temperature can change quickly if a cold air mass moves in. Please consider bringing gear for a range of conditions so you are comfortable and safe. It's not like frostbiting in the north, but hypothermia is a real risk and we ask that you dress appropriately.
